We rode through on a rainy Saturday. We did not see how to obtain a map so could not find any of the key graves. There are many different styles and monuments. We also saw 5 deer, near the road. It is just another old...More

We visited early in the morning when the dew was still on the grass and the trees. It was stunningly beautiful, peaceful and sobering. It is well maintained and a great source of history.

Another showcase for RVA to display the beauty and history of Richmond, either can drive through or walk. The hills can be challenging for the elderly. The walk though can be magical in a somewhat eerie way. Sights are both of natural and man made...More

The blend of history, a very walkable and attractive venue makes this a great place for a quiet, even contemplative time. Do wear walking shoes. This is a large place with undulating grounds. A map of the cemetery is available and recommended so you can...More

Visited this cemetery in search of great grandmother's burial plot. When I stopped by the office first, the lady at the desk was so helpful! She not only looked up the location, she gave me all the burial info and a map of the cemetery,...More
