We called ahead to visit earlier this afternoon and were told to arrive by 4pm for a tour. When we arrived at ten to four and said that we had called ahead for a tour, the staff member on duty very unprofessionally told us that...More

Along with Agecroft Hall, Virginia House is a portion of a Tudor estate dismantled in Great Britain and moved to Virginia in the 1920's. It's a fascinating tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide. It is also worth the visit to see the surrounding neighborhood...More

Of all the guides I had in five days in Richmond. This guide in the garden was the most knowledgeable. She knew the gardening aspects and the garden design. There could not have been a better tour of a garden

Nice house, nice tour guide, pretty neighborhood, pretty grounds but the overall feeling I walked away with was the entire setting was contrived. I'm not sorry I went but I'm glad I didn't make a special trip just to see it.

We were actually trying to visit the Agecroft Hall next door, but we weren't sorry we came here. The young lady who was our guide was quite enthusiastic about the house, the occupants and its rich history. Located in a beautiful neighborhood, you will need...More
