breathtaking but a rip off.
Sep 2020
Hi everyone, i've been in Sardinia since when i was 2 years old and i do love that place, but...... La Pelosa beach is crazy beautiful, the water's colors are breathtaking but I had a really bad surprise one week ago when i went there.. you must pay 3,50 euro each person if you want to walk on La pelosa's sand, and if you want to hang over there you must have a straw mat under your beach towel (you can easily buy it over there for about 15 euro).
plus you have to pay the parking.
well..that would be 18,50 euro just to hang out there, plus the parking cost, ( let's say about 6 euro)...honestly it is not right that we have to pay so much money just to hang out on a public beach.. i was with my boyfriend, imagine a family of 4 member, it would be a rip off.
beside of all this, the beach is amazing.

Beautiful Beach
Sep 2020 • Couples
The beach is exceptional well marshalled by the police and rules strictly enforced.
1) you must have a beach mat to rest your towel on. You can buy 2 for €15
2) loungers are €30 for 2 plus a parasol. Seems not to matter when you turn up. I went for the beach mats, cheaper
3) parking - metered at €1.50, you have to also insert your ref number when paying.
4) Much to our surprise you have to pay €3.50 to visit the beach and this has to be done on-line. We did not realise and were caught by the beach police. We paid and you have to wear a wrist band.
5)Smoking is only allowed in designated areas and this is strictly enforced.
6) the beach is beautiful but must be a zoo in the peak season.
7) definitely worth a visit just remember the rules.

Our favourite beach in Sardinia
Sep 2020 • Couples
Beautiful clean beach, we got there around 10.30am and were by the beach in front of the bar, and had plenty of space. It did fill up but there was still plenty of room to keep 1-2 metres. Beautiful clear water and easy parking. A must see!

Awful tourist trap
Sep 2020 • Couples
Overrated tourist trap. If you like to be among vain people posing for the camera then this is the place for you. Hardly anyone actually swimming in the beautiful water. I went snorkeling and saw several different fish sadly most of the other tourists were too busy checking each other out. Small beach. Major tourist trap. No soul. Plenty of vendors selling tourist souvenirs.

Awesome for the whole family
Aug 2020
We were here just a few days ago. We bought tickets for 3 days in a row, just in case, and were able to go just once, due to ticking other itineraries. Buy tickets online on lapelosastintino.com. Do aim to arrive in the morning. Parking is along the streets and get full up quickly. Bring coins for the parking meter. There is some coin changer machine but it's sparse, or download the parking app (sorry, I forgot which one). After parking, go to the Information point to 'check in' and get your bracelet. The toilet and shower facilities at the Info point are also clean. There were many people, but not too packed. The volume of visitors is limited anyway. But I'd recommend hiring the deck chairs/umbrella. This is the safest option for 'social distancing' as everybody has their own space, which is at least 1-2m apart. Cash/card. Didn't find the option to reserve any deck chairs online. But as long as you arrive early e.g. by 11 am, there should still be some. There are restaurants along the beach. Go park the car, secure your deck chairs and then head to the restaurant of your choice to make a reservation for lunch/dinner. They get full up quickly. Awesome beach for little kids as it's like a super huge paddle pool! Super clear, clean water. Buy/bring a float. The photos we got from La Pelosa were just amazing.

Most beautiful beach
Aug 2020 • Couples
It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia. But it can be very crowded. Visitors have to reserve well in advance during peak season. Parks fill so better to go early in the morning or take a taxi / shuttle bus.

Overrated!
Aug 2020 • Family
Nice beach, but too many people. You have to buy a wristband to stay on the beach. Nowhere information about that, but police comes to check it and it you haven’t one you have to leave. Paid parking €2,- an hour. Better choose for a more quiet beach in the neighbourhood, the water is azure and clear everywhere.

A natural beauty!
Jul 2020 • Couples
The beach is small but fabulous and the water clearer than a swimming pool. Astonishing! You should reserve a spot for the price of 3.50 Euros per person. I didn't know in advance but I could immediately buy the entrance online. This makes you eligible to use showers and toilets which are very useful. I also appreciated the smoking area.

Really beautiful but so overcrowed
Jul 2020 • Couples
We went there last week, however there is a need to have pass, it is a bit of a fight to get a park and 8 rows of umbrellas on a Sardinian beach like Stintino is really crazy. I would probably look for something less crowed or maybe to avoid July for a visit.
