We have been subscribers for years and have never been disappointed. It is wonderful to see live theater in a cozy, comfortable, intimate setting. The actors are always excellent, drawn to MRT by the professionalism of the theater and the delightful artist's quarters overlooking the river in the same building as the rehearsal space. The new artistic director had some... More

I have been a season subscriber for years. You just never know whether or not you'll like the play, but that's always the case with shows. I enjoy the whole experience. This year "45 Plays for 5 Presidents" was very good and very well done. Funny when appropriate, serious when respect was needed. "Abigail, 1702" showed a side of the... More

We are season ticket holders to the Merrimack Repertory Theater. We really enjoy most of the plays, and it is a great date night out with friends seven times a year. The current play, "Going to See the Kid" is one of the best I've seen here in several years. It is just a delightful story, well directed and especially... More

Last nights play, The White Chip, was autobiographical. About addiction and recovery, it's an amazing life story for Sean and was an incredibly excellent performance on stage. We are very much enjoying his work with the MRT, and I highly recommend you consider attending!

Not a bad seat in the house, friendly staff, great casts, really a very nice place for live theatre!

We saw The Lion on opening weekend. One of the best plays we've seen there, and we've been going there for nearly 20 years. The new artistic director has certainly started this year off with a bang.

We have been season subscribers now for 3 years, and the plays are always interesting and frequently are excellent. The last play of the season this year was an example - The Outgoing Tide. Funny, but a real tough one for most of us in the audience - not too many dry eyes in the house at the end, and... More

We went to see the play Dusk Rings A Bell at the MRT, and it is another winner. We have had season tickets for 3 years now, and we find the performances consistently excellent. Sometimes the play is not to our liking, but that happens with such a wide variety and we have never seen any production that was not... More

This was our first vist to MRT. It is a very small theater which is very nice, but being that the theater was so small, I felt we shouldn't have spent so much on our tickets. We sat in the orchestra, but really any location probably would have been fine. I did like the intimacy of the experience, with the... More

I'm a big fan of the MRT, in fact, I may be a little prejudice, as I'm a volunteer usher there. The house is small -- just under 300 seats -- which lends an intimacy to the productions. The actors are all professionals, many from NYC, Boston and other large cities. I'm particularly excited about the plays this year, as... More
