We visited this small museum on a Saturday afternoon in October when lots of other museums in Northern Sardinia were already closed for the season. It was a real suprise to learn about the importance of the cork industry for this part of the island...More

Did not realise how important this region was for cork. At one stage there was no one to touch them for world production. The impact locally is all explained here and the entrance fee is well worth paying

Interesting museum and excellent English speaking guide. Very glad we stopped here for a tour. Only 4 euro per person including guide. They close between 13:00-15:00. We arrived at 12:30 and had a half hour tour.
