Reasonable beach
Aug 2019
Reasonable beach to spend a few hours, parking (circa 1 Euro/ hr) is close (circa 50m) and few steps to beech front. Plenty of bars/ cafes/ restaurants within 50m of beach.

Not so good for a Sardinian used to much better beaches
Aug 2019
The sand is very dark and the water is ok but not that nice. I didn't go there for the sea, still much better that several location in Italy and abroad but, being a Sardinian, I am used to much nicer locations.
Easily reachable by car, train and bus from Bosa, if you are lucky you can park right in front of it.
There are no public showers but one where you have to pay 50c and is not that great.

Great beach
Jun 2019 • Couples
Great beach, clean sea, with lots of nearby cafes and restaurants. It is our favourite. Can be a bit crowded in July and August but rarely unpleasantly so.

Rating on a curve, this beach is just fine
Aug 2018 • Family
There really isn't anything wrong with this beach; it's just that amazing beaches are within driving distance. We were staying in Bosa, and bought chairs, towels, and umbrella at the Chinese market. The short 2-3 minute drive from our hotel brought us to the parking areas nearest the beach. The beach is wide and services are far from the water. The water was fairly clear, but not nearly what we saw at other beaches. The proximity to our hotel was hard to beat, but we far preferred the beaches a short drive to the south (Arutas especially, but also Archittu).

So many better places for a beach and swim in Sardinia
Jul 2018
We visited The village of Bosa in July. We looked at the marina, but no cafes etc. Not like a UK Marina. We then looked at the beach which was overcrowded and nothing special. There are so many other great beaches in Sardinia. If you are near Bosa. The village/ town is quite pretty with some cobbled streets. However would t make a huge detour to see it.

Good, but nothing to write hmm about.

We drove to Bona from Alghero, along the coast road (bit scary at times) which took about an hour and arrived ready for a day on the beach and in Bosa.
Not bad, but the sand was definitely harsher - more volcanic like than Alghero and there were no sunbed sellers. It didn't matter as we had chairs etc, but make sure you go prepared. It was not busy at all, there appeared to be lots of locals just lazing in the sun and sea, and from that perspective it looked great as everyone seemed to be enjoying the shallow sea. Lots of bars and restaurants along the back of the beach - to us it felt a bit sleepy, which is no bad thing if you just want to relax.

Great big beach
Jul 2017 • Couples
Nothing picturesque, but a very long, clean, uncrowded strand with restaurants and services. Accessible by bus or car, even walking (two kilometers) from Bosa. Seawall protects from rough seas.

Kite surfers
May 2017
Windy but nice day for Kite Surfers. They were a real joy to watch. Another sport that I will never participate in but love to watch.

Beach for kite surfers
Sep 2016 • Solo
I wound down on the beach in the afternoon after the visit of the historical town of Bosa town. In the middle of September the beach was empty and used mainly by kite surfers. The beach is nice but nothing spectacular. Water clear without sea weeds but windy.

I walked there from the city center, it is about 2 KM – 20-30 minutes walk. About 3 minutes from the beach is bus station for the bus to Alghero or you can use it to the old city. 3,80€ to Alghero for advance purchase.

A little soulless, better beaches near Alghero
Sep 2016
Large beach, very windy on the day we went. Lots of parking in streets nearby. Long walk from restaurants etc to beach chairs. Toilets at restaurants. Overall okay but better beaches on road to Alghero.
