We drove to Bona from Alghero, along the coast road (bit scary at times) which took about an hour and arrived ready for a day on the beach and in Bosa. Not bad, but the sand was definitely harsher - more volcanic like than Alghero...More

Nothing picturesque, but a very long, clean, uncrowded strand with restaurants and services. Accessible by bus or car, even walking (two kilometers) from Bosa. Seawall protects from rough seas.

Windy but nice day for Kite Surfers. They were a real joy to watch. Another sport that I will never participate in but love to watch.

I wound down on the beach in the afternoon after the visit of the historical town of Bosa town. In the middle of September the beach was empty and used mainly by kite surfers. The beach is nice but nothing spectacular. Water clear without sea...More

Large beach, very windy on the day we went. Lots of parking in streets nearby. Long walk from restaurants etc to beach chairs. Toilets at restaurants. Overall okay but better beaches on road to Alghero.

A lot of people, really! The sand is ok and there are a lot of people playing football which is nice if you travel with teenagers. The water is fuzzy and you can barely see anything under water. Not a place for snorkelling. My advice...More

The beach is nice but does get quite busy, beware of windy weather as the sand will blow up making sunbathing an impossibility.

This beach is not a massive 'touristy' beach (The way I love it) like Cagliari/Chia/Alghero yet it is clean and has some of the most amazing horizon and surroundings. There is a large cliff monument which one can ascend and rocks below you can set...More

We visited in June, which seems to be very early in the season as the beach was very quiet, despite temperature up at 30C, and a lot of the local facilities appeared to be closed. Wide beach, good sand, some facilities, but you need to...More

Feel kind of dirty, a lot of families. But it's close to the city and it can certainly work if you'r not able to drive to the other beaches outside of Bosa.
