Visited years ago. This is still a paradise for nerds of all types. The upstairs is all new books and the dungeon below, a treasure trove of used books of all kinds. So fun to see it again and spend an hour browsing among the...More

I order all my books through Harvard Book Store now just to support them. Their speaker series is incredible, their selection is excellent, their staff is genuinely enthusiastic, and they really work to foster a sense of community. Just a perfect all-around book store.

The Harvard Book Store offers a wide selection of new and used books. Interesting, high-quality hardcover and paperback books. Used books on the lower level. Plenty of helpful staff.

Not many independent bookstores like this one anymore; feels almost like an anachronism. If you are in the area, stop by and see stacks of books!

I pop over here because I wanted to buy a recent published autobiography book which I can get it on time through Amazon. The building exterior is quite English looking. The selection of book is limited. I found it difficult to look for the book...More

Spent many hours at the bookstore during my graduate school days. I try to visit on every trip to the area. The bookstore is a local institution that has survived while many others have perished under the pressure generated by chains and internet behemoths. Beyond...More

Very impressive bookstore. Just across the street from Harvard 's gate to the university. I went in to ask about a specific book and unfortunately they were out of stock but promised to get it in two days. Knowledgable about other books. A good atmosphere...More
