We went here on our second day in Iceland and had a great day. It's very expensive but worth the money as we spent the entire afternoon there. Even though the weather outside was bad it was lovely and toasty inside the pool and the silica mud mask was an extra bonus!

it's not exactly disney but has the same effect on the psyche ... not to be missed , however ... such opposing views : the seemingly placid bluish lagoon and the geothermal industrial complex hovering over the area ... you really don't need anything but a towel and personal swim attire to enjoy an hour or so of smearing silica... This was the last place we visited outdoor to leaving the country, and even in September, a notable down time in the Icelandic tourist economy, it was pretty full of, yep, tourists. After spending more than a week traveling Iceland's lesser traveled regions (West peninsula and the Westfjords), I really don't see the value in going to a place like... More

A great place to start your vacation in Iceland. Water is nice and warm, and it's white like milk. The face masks are great! The poolbar has a surprisingly good selection of drinks. There are also a steamroom and sauna. Lava restaurant has great food, but service is slow.

This is a unique experience. Get the full treatment, 2 facials and a drink at the bar. very close to the airport. Very touristy, so be prepared for many people. You should have a bathing suit, they can supply robe, towel, and sandals.

Couldn't of asked for a better time here if I wanted to. Amazing from the word go.. Fast to get in, easy access to the water.. The views are unreal the water so hot and the bar nice and cheap. If going to Iceland I would recommend visiting the lagoon over doing anything. It put 6 hours of a day... More

If you are only doing the golden circle or maybe staying in Reykjavik the whole time then this is totally worth your time. However if you are doing the whole ring road. Then why not go to to the one in the north east Myvatn? It's half the price of the blue lagoon and way less people. And FYI the... More

This truly is one of the most wondrous places I have ever visited. It is most defiantly worth the trip and cost. We just purchased the basic entry fee and found that was all we needed. The basic fee includes a complimentary mud mask while in the pool. There is also a swim up bar that has everything from boozy... More

Yes it is touristy, but unless you live in Iceland you are a tourist! I had a reservation for 8PM, which in the beginning, I thought was too late. It turns out that it was rather a nice time to go. 45 minutes from Reykjavik, but a nice ride and the buses have wifi. The organization was excellent. The check-in... More

Traveled the south coast of Iceland, this was our first stop and couldn't have started better. Full sensory experience (a bit pricey) into that warm white/grey water while cold and windy outside. Nice treatments with the Silica Mud Mask and the Algae Mask included in the Comfort ticket and the purifying effect on the skin. Contrary to other reviews it... More
