We celebrated my birthday here! It was an amazing day that I will never forgot. The boiling hot water with the freezing air is incredible. We did the free mask and the algae mask (fee). Our skin was luxuriously smooth and soft! We had lunch at Lava that was amazing and massages in the blue lagoon--don't. They were not relaxing... More

Being immersed in water of around 37'c - 40'c with the ambient air temperature being around -2'c is very surreal. I was standing in warm water, with my head & shoulders out of the water and not feeling cold! We visited the Blue Lagoon as a family, a group of 4 adults and 1 teenager. My eldest son (27yrs) who... There are so many stunning places in Iceland, you find you can't count them all. Iceland is just such a beautiful country. So needless to say, the Blue Lagoon is one of the great places to see when you visit. There was a long queue when we arrived and they tried to charge me for towels for the children even... More

Nice place to relax but only a small part of Iceland, very expensive smoothie cost £21 ! Now Iceland is expensive but that was somewhat over the top. A must go to place.

This lagoon is closest to the international airport, you can find tours with transportation to this place or you can drive there. Buy the entrance ahead because sometimes they sold out the tickets. This is cheaper if you buy the entrance including the transportation from the blue lagoon website, you save some money. My friends and I bought the cheapest... More

Wow, a beautiful place to be with ur dear ones but expensive one, although complete Iceland is a bit heavy on the pocket. Nice warm water with the lava stones around it n that too 800 years old. A beautiful bar for drinks and chilly weather making it all a place to remember

An interesting experience but not worth the money and time (it is out of the way) in my opinion. A few things: - very crowded, ton of people everywhere in locker rooms, pool itself. not a lot of privacy - seemed very touristy. there are other lagoon spas around that re more private and reasonably priced - one of the... The warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and bathing in the Blue Lagoon is amazing for your skin. The girls love it because it's like a spa day. It is well known to help some people suffering from skin diseases such as psoriasis. The water temperature in the lagoon averages 100° F. They offer massages that... More

CHash, cash, cash!! that is what comes to me when I think od blue lagoon. 50€ to get in the water and you need to bring your own towel? The water looks nice, but other than that not so special. I'd rather visit this lagoon before the spa complex was build, I wonder how beautiful it was. For me this... More
