Yes, it's very touristy. However, this is one of those experiences that you just have to do. The Blue Lagoon is conveniently located between Keflavik Airport and Reykjavik, so it does make for a great activity when you are traveling to or from the airport....More

This is a tourist atteaction but a very well organized one! Make your reservation before going as it is almost always full. The staff is nice and courteous. The experience is nice and happy to have visited!

Are their hair dryers? Planning on driving directly to Blue Lagoon from the airport upon arrival early in the morning. Are there decent amount of secure storage spaces for luggage?

Yes there are hair dryers. Not much storage for luggage. Just a locker

I am very short sighted. Am i allowed to wear my glasses in there or i have prescription goggles if they are allowed

Yes you may wear your glasses. They do warn against it but I wore mine and I did not have any damage to them.
