What a beautiful treasure of an art gallery. Every time we are in Omaha we always stop into the Artists Cooperative Gallery to see the new art, enjoy the occasional conversations with the artists and sometimes leave with a new work of art. Last night was no exception. Love it.

I was in the Coop Gallery several weeks ago and found some delightful framed photos to purchase. I am continuously surprised at what I find every time I venture into the Gallery. It is difficult to leave empty handed.

This place has been around since the 70's which is a testament to the quality of the local artists who make up this cooperative. The gallery is a large open space with everything from paintings to sculpture to photography, to jewelry. Always a delight to visit. Sometimes the juxtaposition of the various artists who are exhibiting side by side are... More

walked around and enjoyed all the local art here with my parents this weekend. The curator kept yelling at my kids though.

Extremely friendly staff and artists. Very eclectic array of art. I really wanted a vase there but didn't think it'd make it home. Definitely would return.

This coop was a really neat place to visit. It is well organized with some great pieces of art to view and if you like, you can purchase too.

I started purchasing art from the COOP Gallery during the 1970s. My older brother and I were students at Creighton and we would buy our parents Christmas gifts from the COOP. I have continued to purchase their art over the years and have several pieces in my flat. If your looking for art made by locals, visit the COOP in... More

Like most cooperative galleries, the work on display at the Artists' Cooperative Gallery is typically uneven in terms of quality. There are always some technically proficient and aesthetically mature works and some that are more amateurish.

This is tucked into the Old Market. I enjoyed walking through, just one of a few artsy additions to the Market that adds some diversity to the area.
