It isn't big but the exhibits are always interesting. Although we live in another state, we keep our membership here as I enjoy visiting when we are in Omaha. It was too cold to be outside but I enjoyed the lego exhibit this month. The...More

This is one of my favorite places to take my 3 yr old grandson, Its HUGE but very walkable, even with a toddler. Beautiful theme gardens - model train garden and the childrens gardens are big hits. There's a wonderful rose garden and other treasures...More

I am a member here, and would visit daily if it were closer to home! I do try to visit at least every season, and for the myriad special events. The annual plant sale is a must, and the grounds are absolutely amazing. Very easy...More

Depending on when you visit, you can see various seasonal flowers. The venue is not very large, so you can easily cover it in a few hours. Small cafe onsite, but this would just be a short stop on your way to the zoo perhaps.

Went there with my sister and we were there a couple of hours. I especially liked the mini train driving all over. Beautiful plants and the landscaping was very cool too!

We hit the Lauritzen Gardens in November, so most of the leaves (most = all but 2 or 3) had dropped, and some of the annuals were already pulled up. However, a lot of the shrubs and bushes were still going. Part of the path...More

We went during the fall. The flowers and Koi pond inside were nice. But there was absolutely nothing to see outside. I realize during the fall and winter things die or go into hibernation and re-bloom during the spring. But don't charge full price when...More

The rose garden should be in full bloom, educational and fun children’s garden, and the miniature train is a must, outside in the summer. The glass arboretum is lovely, especially if it is beastly hot! You can take a tram... More
