I had an opportunity to walk the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian bridge after a day of work. Although it is a bit hard to find and a long walk to get to it, it is worth it. I like the gracious curves, the lights that come on at dusk, and the explanatory plaques.

This was an unexpected treat when I visited. The design of the bridge is sweet and as you walk across, there is a marker designating where the borders of NE and IA meet which is cool for a photo. It was peaceful to look over the river and there was easy access/parking to get on the bridge.

This bridge is awesome and the parking nearby is free. You can walk through the Lewis and Clark museum and then head up to the bridge. While walking across you can stop for pictures where Iowa and Nebraska meet! It was a lovely walk and there were even people on bikes!

On a family trip to Omaha. We enjoyed walking the bridge. Bikes are available and would of been fun, but could not get the machines to work to take the money. We went towards 4:30 and got to see the sun set . It is a lot of walking but you can push a wheelchair around if needed. Close to... More

Nice walk from Nebraska to Iowa along a curving and slightly swaying bridge. Lots of people out so it appears to be locally popular.

Whole family walked across Bob. Beautiful views. We walked just as the moon was coming up but yet still light. Could feel the bridge swaying in the wind - or from the movement of so many people on the bridge. Near the middle we stopped to take pictures standing with one foot in Iowa, the other in Nebraska. Want to... More

Whether it's a 1st date or a cardio workout this is a place that's idea. Perfect location and perfect views! Cons: portable potty usually isn't clean and very little parking.

Woke up this morning and it was a gorgeous sunny Fall day that you just had to be outside . I left the hotel and walked along the Missouri river and unintentionally came to the Bob Kerrey bridge . I liked the idea of walking over the river from one state to another. The paths were very clean with lots... More
