This part of downtown Omaha has cobblestone streets and cute shops and restaurants. I browsed a couple very decent vinyl record stores and enjoyed a drink on a shaded patio. Lovely part of town. Free parking on Sunday

I've seen it at it's worse and in it's glory. It is still one of my favorite places to go. We usually start on Saturday morning at the Farmer's Market, and spend most of the day just bumming around!

Lots of good restaurants, avoid the Brewhouse though, and interesting placed to browse. Gives a good flavor of Omaha.

the old market area has a lot of places to see and places to eat. People watching is outstanding. The cobblestone streets are a fund step back in time.

I took a carriage ride to see the area and ask about Omaha. Havana Garage was a place to check out for drinks and great cigars

I agree with everyone else's comments. You should check out the Old Market area downtown. There are several good restaurants down there including a few great chop houses with some of the best steaks in town! Then have a... More

The horse drawn carriage only goes through the Old Market area. I'm not sure of their policies. I think you pay for a specific time.
