Neat place worth the visit

Full of neat gifts and trinkets, much better place to visit than some of the traditional gift shops.

I'm glad we stopped by here during the beginning of our trip to see the potential gift selections. They have locally made items beyond just fur. We got fur Keychains, hand painted magnets and even moose antler chew for the pup. The prices were extremely...More

My wife and I are into unusual items to remember our trips. We avoid dime-a-dozen tourist gift shops that sell the usual uninspired crap and opt for unique shops like Alaska Fur Exchange. While visiting the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center on our way back to...More

Nice store - staff friendly - something of everyone ! Buy something for $.25 or a nice fur for several thousand - all depends on your budget ! Worth a stop if in area ! Easy parking !

Worst service I have ever received. Wish I never set foot in the store. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM when they say that they have no problem returning something if it doesn't fit...I returned the pair of slippers I purchased, cost me $40 to send...More

The shop has authentic Native Alaskan made gifts. The people at the shop are helpful and full of knowledge about the Alaskan wild life and near by cultures. Great shop to pick up some great gifts.

Forget all the "tourist" shops of downtown Anchorage, this place is a "must visit" for quality art, sculpting, and Alaska items of quality. Knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices, fast and well packed shipping. Don't regret the money we spent there on carvings.
