The Anchorage City History Trolley Tours are worth $20. for a 1-hour tour on the Original Red Trolley. Highlights include Mysterious earthquake Park, the Alaska Railroad, Float planes departing from Lake Hood and Lake Spaniard, and Anchorage's historic neighborhoods.

This is a must to take. We went on the last one in the evening even thought it was cold the learned so much about the history of the buildings, homes, people, schools.

This was recommended by our hotel driver. It was a good way to see town, have a laugh and receive a little local knowledge. The driver was a character with very good sense of humor. I would recommend this.
