From the pick up at the hotel to the drop off we found Rene to be personable and knowledgeable. He put a complicated day into perspective and added personal stories of people involved to tie it all together. Great tour and a special day.

I can't imagine going to all the Normandy World War II sites without a guide. We had a private tour with Rene. He is extremely knowledgeable and participates in reenactment paratrooper jumps himself. He carries very large photographs that help show what the area looked...More

I do not believe that Sainte-Mere_Eglise is the town I am looking for. What I know of where I want is that it was basically destroyed in WW-II and never rebuilt, but kept in that condition more or less as a monument.
