Such a treasure

Strolled here today and had a lovely time walking along the streams. Definitely got my nature and fresh air fix.

Schmitz Park is only a few blocks from Alki Beach so can be easily incorporated into a visit. The park has peaceful trails, a nice stream, places to sit and picnic, and the most wonderful sense of peace and quiet. It is a wonderful oasis to get away from the noise and hubbub of Seattle.

Schmitz Park is a lovely woods. You can get "away from it all" and also see indigenous trees and other woodland plants.
