I wouldn't make it all the way out here JUST to see the shops of West Seattle. There really is no reason to come see shops that are not really an "attraction". Rapid Ride C comes out here and so does the water taxi though or grab an UBER. Lots of cafes and bars and some parks but all that... More

The mall junction consists of 2 by 2 blocks. Walkable. I started by trip at Great Harvest Bread for breakfast, and then walked around the junction, browsing different shops. There were bookshops, gift shops and I like. After that, I had lunch at Elliott Bay Brewery and Pub. Continue walking to QFC, I had by grocery for the day. Basically,... More

While visiting Seattle we took the Water Taxi to West Seattle to see West Seattle Junction described as "a clutch of quirky boutiques, shops and restaurants." All this really feels like is the Main Street of a very average small town. Nothing unique and not worth the trip. The highlight was the water taxi ride and seeing the downtown skyline... More

Downtown Experience in West Seattle. Nice to be able to walk to many stores with out having to breathe Mall air. The stores are funky yet functional, and we do have Starbucks there now. Whoohoo! Cook Grocery Store to Great Beer Store and much much more. Great way to get outside and do a mental reset.

The Junction is a characteristic Seattle neighborhood with good restaurants, the original Bakery Nouveau, bars and shops. For visitors who want to do a little shopping or dining in a neighborhood generally off the main tourist circuit the Junction is a good choice. It is easy to pair a Junction visit with time down at Alki. Also every July they... More

This bustling business district is the heart of Downtown West Seattle and offers something for just about everyone, from a children's toy shop to lots of places to eat. For example, the aromas emanating from Bakery Nouveau and Great Harvest Bread Company are hard to resist and an accurate reflection of the goodies within. I find the huge Husky Ice... More

West Seattle was, for a short time long ago, a city. Although it was annexed by Seattle, it retains a small town feel. There are several business districts with the Junction being a central area not to be missed. There are a number of restaurants, coffee shops, a great music store, children's toy store, as well as a variety of... More

Very difficult to park. Limited free parking. Some of the West Seattle Junction parking lots are owned by Diamond parking. They will give you no slack. It will cost you dearly if you make even the slightest honest mistake BE WARNED!
