Good views of Seattle and Mount Rainier from the wheel. We didn't have to wait too long to get on it, but we found for the price you pay it was a rather short ride. There's other things to do on the pier and plenty of places to get something to eat.

The whole dock area was under some sort of construction or renovation so we didn't get to ride the Great Wheel, but we still went to one of the restaurants next to it and of course, took the usual touristy pictures :-)

Between this and the Space Needle, the Space Needle won 1000x over. But, if you have time to spare while in Seattle, this is a cool thing to do and experience.

Awesome views of Seattle. Reasonable prices. It was raining off and on the day we visited. There wasn't much of a line. We went around in the wheel 6 times. We had 3 adults and 4 children and were crammed into the pod. It's pretty small in there and an average sized adult wouldn't be able to stand up. It's... More

$14 a person for several revolutions was good value and there was little wait when we visited. A good way to catch views of the area.

This was a great early evening activity. Turns out to be the perfect time of day, with the setting sun, to get some incredible photos. The views of the city and the sound were just beautiful. A rain storm was on the horizon. The wheel moves slowly, and even though I can be bothered by heights, this enclosed "pod" felt... More

Haha! Said we would never do that again! Loved it though, great views, goes around about four times, slowly. Scary if you are not a heights kind of person!!

I hate heights, but I also like scenic views, so we decided to go on this. The first circle Up was rough for me with my fear of heights (not panicking- just uneasy), but after that I was good to go and took in the beautiful views of the waterways and the skyline. The cabins are climate controlled - thank... More

Very smooth ride. I'm scared of heights but this ride was great. Each cabin holds up to 6 people. The ride includes 4 whole turns. Plenty of time to get good pictures and view the sights. It's easy to buy tickets at the kiosk at the entrance to the wheel. Staff was friendly and helpful. It's close to lots of... More
