Experience the food and culture at one of Seattle’s most famous landmarks, Pike Place Market, on this 2-hour, chef-guided food tour. See where chef’s shop and locals hang out. Enjoy diverse tastings at nearly a dozen different stops — places like Beecher's ‘World's Best’ Mac and Cheese, Local Color coffee shop, Britt's Pickles, Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt and more. Feel like a market insider on this behind-the-scenes adventure to savor the flavors, as well as the sights and sounds, of this historic attraction.

For those who care about humanity, you will be very impressed by the vision and social consciousness of the very blessed Gates. What we have is a privilege that should not be taken for granted. This place shows that promoting hatred and division as a means to build one's power and wealth is small minded.

Its not very big but very informative on what kinds of projects they work on and why. Provides some interactive experiences and well done. Its pretty easy to get to and located across the street from MoPop / Seattle center

I was disappointed I missed the 2pm tour but then I was surprised how much I enjoyed the discovery center anyway. It was very educational to learn about all the issues affecting poorer countries. The inventions to solve those problems are fascinating and ingenious. They also have craft project areas where you can, for example, assemble a notebook and decorate the cover page so they could donate the finish product to an under privileged child. It's a great idea.

Instead of visiting the museum nearby visit this place, much better. entrance is free, there is a lot of information about what the Gates family are doing. A lot of information on the new projects for improving people's life, it was a great experience, staff was very firendly and helpful.

We coordinated our recent first time visit with the daily 2pm tour, and found it really worthwhile to do so. Our tour guide Patrick did an outstanding job of answering our numerous questions in an engaging fashion, and as a special bonus, an inventor/developer of a prototype on display ( a toilet suitable for developing countries without adequate sanitation infrastructure) currently receiving funding from the foundation was around to explain how his prototype works and issues they have faced in its development. Lots of interactive displays suitable for all ages. Very inspiring.
