Interesting place, but a lot of tourists. :) Huge queues in the morning, the coffee was delicious. (As always)

This is just like a 'normal' Starbucks, lots of mugs and commemorative merchandise to buy. It's not the biggest building, but it's crazy popular with tourists and so had a massive line which wasn't well organised. Waited a good 20 mins to buy two mugs and then another 15 mins for two drinks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming though,... More

If you are really that bothered about going to the first Starbucks, then all well and good. Enjoy! However, seeing this as an important historical location is stretching it a bit. If you have a few days in Seattle then looking at it from across the road and ticking the "done that" box is about all it needs. There are... More

So glad I visited to see where Starbucks all began. I'm not sure that there ever isn't a line to get in, but the employees are very quick and efficient.

its a coffee shop, a little small, very busy, lots of photos being taken ,, I like coffee so this was just a coffee stop, could have been just as good without all the photo folks..

Usually a long line to get into the original Starbucks. They offer merchandise that you can't purchase anywhere but this store. The outside has the "original" Starbucks logo which was changed because some people though it was risque!!

So yes, it's just a Starbucks.. And yes, the wait was more than 40 minutes, but it's the first Starbucks store!! And the only location to sell exclusive "The First Starbucks Store" merchandise. My husband and I got a few mugs for ourselves and a one for my step-dad who is a big coffee drinker. It's right in the thick... More

If the long lines are around when you visit I would recommend checking out inside and then heading a short walk away to a normal Starbucks for the exact same produce. I visited on MLK Day and thankfully there were no lines, however in previous days to this they were approximately ~50 people in lines waiting for a coffee.

Good service, go early to avoid the lines and dont expect food to be served at this location. Interesting piece of history.
