The popularity of Green Lake is, unfortunately, a reflection on the lack of adequate green space in Seattle. Although crowded, it is a great place to take an urban walk. But be warned that it is a multi use path and you will never feel...More

Nice path to walk around the lake. Pretty in the fall to see the trees change color. Great for running or biking, lots of good coffee places around too.

Green Lake is a great place to hang out. You can rent long boards, paddle boats, or kayaks for reasonable prices by the hour, and it's a very family friendly place. There are soccer fields here as well as an indoor and outdoor basketball court...More

I just spent the day in Seattle with family and friends. It was a lovely day and we had plans for dinner at a place the same general vicinity so we decided to pass some time at Greenlake. What a busy park! I was suprised,...More

Been going here since I was a child. It is beautiful and has evolved over the years with playgrounds and water sports - you can rent SUPs, canoes, pedal boats, etc. The path around the lake creates a scenic and safe exercise environment.

Usually busy and parking can be a nightmare. Lake is nice and path is well kept. Dog, bike and people traffic can be hard to navigate around.

This is one of the most unique places to visit. It reminds me of a smaller version of Central Park. Bike riding, walking, roller blading, feeding the ducks, tennis, sports, and so much more. If you are visiting Seattle this is a great place to...More

This was a really cool park with a great walking/running/biking trail. We enjoyed the trees and looking at the houses surrounding the park, as well as the crew teams practicing on the lake. There is at least 1 playground nearby and you can swim, kayak,...More

We stayed at a B&B across the street from this park and enjoyed walking the perimeter of the lake each day. Lots of activities around the lake, including crewing, model sailboat races, and kayaking. Bathrooms along the way are very convenient. Most of the path...More
