Nice area to walk

This is a nice and relaxing area to walk. You should be able to see many wooden boats as well as kayakers.

Postcards of 100 years ago labeled Lake Union "The Heart of Seattle". It is somewhat shaped like a heart. But the phrase over decades grown in significance as Seattle has changed with Lake Union often the best mirror of those changes. From the commercialization of natural resources, then the birth of commercial aviation, through the doldrums of the Depression and... More

My fiancé and I stopped here while walking mainly because I noticed the geese were out with their babies! But the area is so beautiful! I love being down by the waterfront! There were two boats out that I'm guessing they were practicing scuba diving which was really cool but I feel in love with the geese and their babies!... More

We took a tour of Lake Union. It was really awesome. We saw a boat owned by Drew Barrymore's grandfather who used it to host the Rat Pack. We saw the house from Sleepless in Seattle. The floating homes are amazing. Some are floating on old timbers. There are great views of Gas Park. Around the lake is a museum,... More

Gorgeous view over the water. Right next to Gas Works Park as well. Try to go on a clear day and it's just nicer to sit down and have a picnic or something.

We had lunch in the park by the lake and this really is a picturesque view of downtown. Calm, peaceful, beautiful scenery.

We took a ride on "The Duck". It took us through the streets of Seattle before driving into Lake Union where we sailed a circle around the Lake with expert commentary from our guide

Great place to stroll on a nice day. Usually there are a scattering of food trucks because of the proximity off all the high-tech/bio businesses.
