Pacific Science Center ignites curiosity in every child and fuels a passion for discovery, experimentation, and critical thinking in all of us. Get hands-on in our Tinker Tank maker space, wander among fluttering tropical butterflies, immerse yourself in a giant-screen IMAX film, explore distant galaxies and meet local scientists and researchers. Don't miss a show in our popular Laser Dome that features a brand new laser system filling the dome with vibrant light and color! Every visit to Pacific Science Center is unique, engaging and fun for adults and children alike. In addition to our daily live science demonstrations, IMAX films, planetarium and laser shows, we feature traveling exhibits that vary throughout the year. Coming up we'll feature Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor (April 8-September 4, 2017). Discover this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to investigate the scientific underpinnings of one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of our time: the terracotta warriors. Delve into the science and technology of priceless artifacts, behold real figures from the terracotta army and unearth the mystery hidden in the tomb of the First Emperor.

When we saw the Terra Cotta warriors were going to be here and we were traveling through Seattle on our way to Olympic National Park, we decided to get tickets. Well worth it. Absolutely stunning. The rest of the museum looked like it might be...More

A little old and worn out but some interesting and unique displays. Not least the outdoor water displays. I enjoyed the human hamster wheel for several reasons.

We rode the monorail to Seattle Center ($2.00 round trip - senior) visiting the Pacific Science Center for the traveling Terracotta Warrior feature. Quite impressive, informative and well attended (read crowded but well organised). VERY well presented and only one other location on the U.S....More

One of the best science centers we have enjoyed. Spent several hours and did not see everything. Kids (5 & 8) had a great time. The Terracotta Warriors exhibit was well worth the extra price.

I love visiting the butterfly room here! Other than that, there isn't much variety here and things haven't changed much in the ten years or so it had been since I'd been there as a kid. I figured that it would seem newer compared to...More

Came here on a Monday afternoon with my 7yr old. Wow, wish we had started earlier in the day as we left at closing (6:00pm) and my son wanted to stay longer. He had a great time running from station to station trying and learning...More

So we have been to a number of science museums of this size. It seems that they are pretty much all very similar. The film was interesting. Won't do it again.

While not our favorite science center - we check them out in every city we visit - this is a good one. There are offerings for young children, a very cool butterfly exhibit, and a great Imax.

My nephew and I spent nearly a full day exploring the Pacific Science Center. He loved it. We went to an IMAX show and also a laser show in addition to all of the hands-on displays. Great for pre-teens and early teens, maybe not as...More

Although our city pass didn't cover this exhibit, it was quite a sight to see. This exhibit features the amazing discovery found deep below the earth in China.

The Terracota Warriors is a special exhibit....when we went, there was an additional charge and timed admission process for it in addition to the general museum admission fee.
