Me and my partner visited Frye Art Gallery a couple of weeks ago. It was a little of a treck, as we decided to get there on foot but worth it. The gallery is small, but the paintings in it make it worth your visit....More

I was very disappointed. It was so dark and cold in the landscape exhibition that I could not see and enjoy the paintings, which were probably beautiful. It was a total waste of time.

The main reason for visiting the Frye Art Museum is the Salon. It is worth thd detour. Wear something warm, the airco is working hard.

This is a delightful art museum with a fascinating permanent exhibition of the Fryes collection together with changing contemporary art exhibits. Unfortunately my experience was marred by an officious, insensitive member of the museum staff which showed up a lack of training amongst the staff,...More

The Frye is a unique little museum which has the personal art collection of the late Charles and Emma Frye. The museum has good rotating exhibits, but their highlight is the Frye Salon. The Salon is a large room with the Frye's collection completely covering...More

We parked across the street in May of 2018. But if this has been fenced off I imagine street parking is all that's close by. Sorry not to be more helpful.
