Walking through Volunteer Park is always a treat when we visit Seattle. No matter how many times we visit, a trip to the top of the conservatory is always on our list.

I love Seattle! I love the parks in Seattle. If you are in the neighborhood, you should drive by and walk around Volunteer Park. They had a conservatory, Asian art museum, water tower, weird looking trees, and trails. You can also get a nice view...More

The conservatory itself was under construction but we enjoyed a pleasant stroll in the gardens. We got some exercise climbing the water tower. The city views were very nice even if the mountain wasn't out. I had never seen the city from this angle.

This is a hidden gem in Volunteer park. Recently renovated, it is very cool to be surrounded by tropical plants and flowers on a wet, gray Seattle day. And Volunteer Park is also a world famous urban oasis, designed by the Olmsted brothers. Go to...More

Really nice place for a stroll and view of the space needle. Has it's own charm, specially the area with the statue that is surrounded by trees. This area feels very private ( there were no people around) and has the view of the small...More

If you're looking for some time away from busy downtown Seattle, take a trip to Volunteer Park. There you will find well kept grounds, beautiful trees, nice walking paths, and the water tower. Climb the tower for terrific views, especially of Mt Rainer!

We came to see the Orchid which is famous for it's cadaverous odor and long term between blossoming and they had underestimated its blooming time. Also they still want full price while half the place was under repair. I'll give them a better grade though...More

This attraction has a mixture of reviews -- some for Volunteer Park, some for just the conservatory itself and some for both. I'll add my "take" on both, as there is no separate listing for the park, which is a stand-alone attraction. The conservatory is...More

It is about a 2.3 mile walk from Pikes Market to Volunteer Park, but the walk through the old neighborhoods and the food and retail establishments was well worth the effort. The park is a wonderful place to walk around - and includes the old...More

There's a great cafe cafe near the park called "The Volunteer Park Cafe". Cheap, friendly and delish.
