We stopped here to visit a friend and relax after a full day of walking in Seattle. Lots of people were hanging out on the hill and after seeing all the goose poop on the flat area, we realized why they were up there! Pretty view of Seattle and the Sound.

Gas works park is an excellent place to walk around and get some fresh air if you have been in the city streets. Beware of bird droppings on the sidewalks, but there is a neat view oover a portion of the harbor across the city that is worth the visit. When we visited, the place was under construction, but for... More

Stopped here while on our girl's trip to Seattle. Not sure what I expected. But I did not expect the amazing panoramic bird of the city skyline. Everyone should go while visiting. The pictures don't show just how beautiful it really is.

If you are looking for a great view of the city, this is it. You are able to see the Sleepless in Seattle boat house from here. Loved watching the boats go in and out of the harbor. Canadian Geese and they babies were plentiful.

ADA on the flats great, please note the hills are past the standard grade for ADA compliance. Depending on your electric torque and if you've a plus one to help on the push up it will be a challenge.

A good little walk and beautiful views of Lake Union. This would be a fun place to bring kids to burn some energy running and playing... or flying a kite!

Great place for a stroll and a view of the city.  Day or night the views are outstanding.  Park is located right on the water (lake union).  Look up the history of Gas Works Park on Wikipedia.  If you go bring a camera for great panoramic views of Seattle and cool pictures of your friends and family in front of... A nice hang out spot for a beautiful day! The views from the top of the hill are wonderful, the old machines down the hill are really cool and have a sort of history you wouldn't expect to find at a park. Dogs are welcome, lay out and get some sun, or just exercise. Also the parking is 4 hours... More

A really nice park with great city skyline views. A lot of great lookout points for the skyline. Many great places to sit (benches) or have a picnic (grass), of course, when it isn't raining. The park is full of structures that were part of gas processing. There's a little poster by the public washrooms building explaining more about the... More

I am a tourist who likes seeing the out-of-the-ordinary things, hidden gems, sometimes off the beaten path - and this was definitely something that fits that category! The park itself would be wonderful if you are looking for some wide open spaces to explore, but the main attraction is the huge masses of iron and machinery! They have painted in... More
