A trip to Seattle is not complete until you enjoy the waterfront. The area is in the state of renewal (which could mean construction) but Seattle is organic if nothing at all. It is always changing and remaking itself. Visit in the state of wonder and you'll never be disappointed because the nature of Elliott Bay and Puget Sound should... More

Visited this place number of times in September/ October 2016. Very good to take a walk any time of the day and nice restaurants to have a drink or a bite. The views of the waterfront are excellent.Try to go on a sunny day.

yes, it is a tourist destination. On the Sound on a pier, it is large, crowded and what is typically considered a tourist destination. That being said, the seafood is amazing. The dozens of varieties of oysters is a good place to start. If you like shell fish, have the sampler tray for dinner. There is a variety of fresh... More

My husband and I love this restaurant because we love eafood but especially oysters. The amount, quality, size and selection of the oysters is fabulous. They are discounted every afternoon at 3 pm, I believe. And then the price starts going up every hour. Even the bread that accompaies the oysters is good sourdough with cramy butter. We always order... More

Great oysters, good hummus plate appetizer, the halibut is phenomenal and the Cesar salad is authentic and tastes great. All while sitting on the waterfront watching the steamers drift by. Good beer and wine selection too.

We ate here for lunch, with friends who had eaten here before. It is on the water, conveniently located near the Farmer's Market. The server was friendly and the food was excellent, as was the atmosphere. We enjoyed our time here and would return again.

One of the reviews below said that this was a great place to eat and then talked about the Alaskan King crab. This is not a restaurant but there are plenty of them in the area. This is a fantastic place to spend a sunny afternoon. Walking, running or on a bike. When the sun is out it is so... More

Great bike (you can rent bikes all over the city) & walking path along the Puget Sound starting at the Olympic Sculpture Park going all the way to Smith Cove Park in Magnolia. Beautiful views of the Sound and the Olympics. Many pedestrian bridges to cross over to get back to lower Queen Anne. The Rose Garden is one of... More

And getting better. Seattle's waterfront is where the city started and it has been developed into one of the most interesting venues in Seattle. Especially on a sunny day...you can spend hours there.
