We perform checks on reviews
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nature is the reason why you should come here. A great place to enjoy at different times of the day and seasons.

Koli is actually rather small area with not that many experiences available. Trails are similar with trails in regular Finnish woods, except the scenery on top of the Koli hills. If I rate Kuusamo as 5 star nature experience in Finland, with this scale Koli gets max 3 stars.

Excellent views from all three hills. Good paths and good guidance. Expensive view elevator but still worth of taking it.

The steps at the start are a little hike and once you get to the top the views are stunning. There’s lots of different tracks to choose and it’s worth paying the €7 for a map at the tourist center in Koli.
If it’s a hot day, bring plenty of water and a hat.

Just a short hike away from the Nature Centre and Break Sokos Hotel Koli. The spring sun made the views to be even more gorgeous than expected and I'm already looking forward to returning there next summer.

We weren't sure what to expect but the views from these hills are absolutely stunning! Special thanks to perfect weather and golden-red-green palette of autumn! Wonderful surprise, highly recommend.

Koli is known as Finnish national view. Ukko-Koli is easy to reach, only couple of hundreds meters from parking area. There is lot of walking routes and we went to Mäkränkierto which is about 7,5km walking route in Koli national park. Mäkrä walking route isn't too difficult, but you need proper hiking shoes because it's rocky and might be bit wet in some areas if it's raining.

I was there just a while ago. Koli has many nice tracks to walk from 1,5km to 60km treks. I was there with a friend and had a great day with the winter sun. You can see beautiful finnish nature there and feel the fresh atmosphere. You can have a good experience with all of the elements. We were walking there and with the amazing sun that was showing itself to us. It felt romantic. Also had a good time sledging on our butts.
It's worth to have a short walk, the tracks are well marked and easy to follow. Also a bit off from the tourists. Worth a visit, if you're close by.

We went there on a sunny afternoon to do some hiking and see the views. This place was truly amazing.
Some of the tracks were quite steep and difficult. Be aware of this and ask for help to plan your hike, if you are not is a good condition. You can take a lift from the car park, but you will have to manage the last 400 metres your self.
