Excellent for year-round out door trails. Trails great for all ages. Great views at the top. Several free parking lots can be found along 10+ mile trail. Visitor Center is clean and helpful.

My son and I made a brief visit to the park during our drive back to Ohio from Tampa. We drove to the top of the mountain and took in the amazing views and then spent some time puttering around the visitor center. Parking was crazy, even on Good Friday, but we lucked out and found a spot in the... More

Hiking...history...amazing views...what a treasure! The Visitors Center is great...the entire park is so clean and well maintained. Perfect for any level hiking, walking enthusiast. Side note...my brother (visiting from out of town) unknowingly dropped his wallet on the trail...didn't discover it until hours later. I suggested he call the visitor center and see if anyone turned it in. He laughed,... More

Great views of Atlanta and the surrounding area from the top of the mountain. You can shuttle up and down if not in the mood for the walk on the paved road or the hike up the trails. The drive to the surrounding battlefield sites is very nice.

The nation's most-visited battlefield park is a great place. And there's so much to see and do that so many people don't know about! The trails are great. Be prepared to have a hard time finding a place to park if it is a nice day! Be sure to check out the Illinois Monument down at Cheatham Hill. Don't limit... More

Like many others, we come here for our walks. Great atmosphere and plenty of open area. History, exercise and family time will be the biggest part of your enjoyment.

I visited this place, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park in February this year. I can comment this place in three words: cold, historic and classy!

This is a great park for hiking and it was a gorgeous day when I was there. The visitors center has a museum and runs an excellent film explaining the local history and the famous battle there--and it's definitely worth seeing, particularly if it's your first visit. You can drive to the top of the mountain for some great views... More

This is a great place for an afternoon hike or a picnic with your family. Weekends are busy and sometimes hard to find a parking space if it nice outside. You can hike up the mountain or drive to the back of the mountain and walk a flatter trail.
