Some cruises end here at this port. You can stay at some motels and the resturants are many along the doks. Do not stay at the Breeze Inn. They have security issues and maid problems . Management is not interested in hearing about them or...More

The small boat harbor provides boardwalks along the shore, and down into the marina, so you can view the fishing and tour boats up close. Fishing charters are plentiful, and there's a viewing area for you to see the day's catch, and watch them clean...More

It was a gorgeous day and the habor was equally pretty. We walked along the docks and enjoyed the spectacular boats and watch the sea otters.

The town of Seward is small, but beautiful with great places to eat and plenty of shops. There is on grocery store in town, but even in the grocery store has souvenirs for sale. We found these to be cheaper than the gift shop.

Very cool spot, at around 5-6 pm the fishermen would bring in their massive salmon and halibut catches for the day and would fillet the fresh fish right in front of you. There's often sea otters hanging around eating the scraps of the fish as...More

Views are so scenic, the boardwalk allows you to take in the harbor experience (even walking to restaurants from your hotel), and watching the fisherman clean their catch after coming in was highly entertaining! Seward Harbor was beautiful in pre-trip pictures, but even more stunning...More

We were there during a rain storm, but we did get to see a couple if big tour boats come in to park. Impressive how the captains can swing them into dock or into tight parking spaces. Otherwise there were many sailboats and a few...More

The harbor has a large capacity for small to medium size boats, with fairly easy access from the shore. We chartered a fishing boat from Crackerjack Charters which was close to their office. We were in and out easily each day. They have hooks to...More

Seward focuses on its small craft harbour and cruise ship docks. The bayside walk gives views of both until you get to the harbour businesses that block views unless you lift a beer in one of many cafes. In a future community plan though, opening...More

We walked down to enjoy the boats several times while in Seward. It’s beautiful down on the beach with all the mountains in the background.

You should see plenty of activity all day since it is a busy harbor. Lunch to afternoon would be when I would plan to observe boating activity. Marine life is mostly out in the bay (Resurrection Bay). Suggest taking a... More

Sorry not sure but I think one operator said that it was free to Mainland USA. Cost of fishing charter is very high compared to Australian priced. Cost was approx USD $400 for about 8 hours.
