We're excited that 2016 marks our 12th year guiding adventurous travelers onto Exit Glacier and into other amazing locales around Seward.

Our company created guided glacier trips in Seward, and we've spent a decade honing our focus on safety and creating amazing client experiences.

Our biggest asset is our amazing staff. We are a seasonal business that has been fortunate enough to have our experienced staff come back year after year, which is very rare for our industry.

Hope to see you in Seward!

My buddy and I chose Exit Glacier Guides because we wanted to do something a little more adventurous than the norm. We chose to do just the basic ice hike on Exit Glacier. We started out in the office getting fitted for our equipment crampons, helmets, gloves hiking poles and backpacks, then off to the glacier we went. Once there... More

We just got driven to the base of the glacier, and we hiked up. It was an amazing walk, with such beauty. Definitely a place you want to see when you are in Seward. It's only about a 20 minute drive from downtown. Be sure to watch the sign posts on the side of the road, for how much the... More

My husband and 20-something year old daughter participated in this wonderful tour. We loved the hike through the beautiful mushroom and fern filled forest to the glacier edge where we donned crampons (my first time) and listened to the safety talk. Once on the glacier, it was easier to walk than I expected. Sage and Jenny, our guides, were very... More

My wife and I took the Ice hiking trip with Exit Glacier Guides. We had no prior experience with hiking on glaciers. All equipment, including snacks were provided to us along with the safety guidelines. Both guides (Sage and Henry) were extremely knowledgeable and seemed passionate about their work. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Exit glacier guides are totally worth... More

This was easily the best day of our trip. Seeing the views down into the glacier was amazing. The hike was beautiful but they weren't joking about being a little strenuous on the way up. The guides were confident with everything they did. I highly recommend this for anyone in the area who loves outdoor sports and seeing something off... More

My boyfriend and I took the guided ice climbing trip on Exit this past June. It was our first intro to crampon and ice tool techniques. Gabi was our guide and she was super instructional and safe. This opened our world to climbing ice and mountaineering in general. So much so that we just enrolled and completed the Intro to... More

My boyfriend and I did a one day hike on Exit Glacier during our stay in Seward. That day was clearly one of the big highlights of our roundtrip in Alaska! The glacier hike in itself (approximately 1 1/2 hour long) was a great adventure and the ice on the glacier was truly stunning! We also very much appreciated the... More

A lot of tours like to throw the word "Adventure" around...."Adventure Ziplining" "Adventure Kayaking", but I'm here to tell you that the Ice Climbing on Exit Glacier is no joke. I climbed on the Matanuska Glacier the day before and both experiences are completely different. I would recommend doing both. I did several months of bleachers to get ready for... More

I wish I could give Exit Glacier Guides more than five stars. We saw and did a lot of amazing things while in Alaska and had some wonderful guides. However, our Glacier Climb with Exit Glacier Guides was by far our favorite experience. We spontaneously decided to do the Glacier Climb after just driving by the store our first afternoon... More
