Overview
More
Major Marine Tours offers two thrilling full day cruises into the Kenai Fjords National Park, where wildlife is abundant and tidewater glaciers are massive. Covering 120 miles, you can choose between a 6 hour or 7.5 hour tour, and all trips are hosted by a National Park Ranger. At the glaciers you'll often witness calving - a process by which glaciers shed giant blocks of ancient ice. This area is also home to a wide variety of animals including whales, sea lions, seals and sea otters, as well as an abundance of birds including puffins and eagles. You can enhance your experience with our Alaska salmon and prime rib buffet, freshly prepared on board the vessel. All guests are guaranteed reserved seating inside our heated cabins.

A blustery day made fun by an exceptional crew, especially the captain. He did his best to show us the beauty of Alaska.

Every effort was made to ensure this was a great experience for everyone. The captain chased all leads to enable us to see whales. He was thoughtful in case people were feeling unwell. Safety was excellent. The lady providing the commentary was a great resource...More

We were very excited to try the tour. We had beautiful weather and the captain was great. Pricing was very reasonable. We didn't see any whales but all the other wildlife and glacier viewing were amazing.

Great trip overall. Captain and crew did a great job spotting animals and assisting patrons. Boat was clean too. They did decide to go in to the gulf and it was rocky. A few people did get queasy. I think they should've avoided that. But...More

Professional staff. On time and what a view! We didn't hear the Captain unless you're right under the speaker but otherwise you can easily figure it out.

This was a highlight of my brief trip to Alaska. Great cruise, a bit chilly in October. Definitely bring layered clothing and a good rain jacket. Boat felt a bit crowded. The guide was very informative, but not too cheesy. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the whole experience, it was a beautiful sunny day. The crew did a great job in all areas. Loved the free tea & coffee to warm us after we had been on deck for awhile. My only two "complaints" are: we didn't know where...More
