This is an amazing facility that raises seahorses. See tiny babies, breeding pairs and have a seahorse wrap its tail around your finger. It’s worth the expense!

Wonderful find near the Kona Airport! Two tours daily, best if signed up in advance. You'll have a nice history of Ocean Rider and why it exists, look at the tanks where seahorses live and are bred for re-release, and even get to 'hold' a...More

This is a fantastic unique experience. The Tour was informative and the tour guide was great. Plus I had a seahorse curl around my finger!

I visited the Seahorse Farm with my daughter and two granddaughters who are just shy of being 4 years old. I called to confirm that they would be able to hold a seahorse and was told yes, as long as they could hold their hands...More

This is a fascinating, very informative tour that istarts with observation of baby seahorses that are as young as two days old. The next room had adult seahorses many of whom had their tails intertwined and one tank even contained sea dragons! The best part...More

I agree, call them. They clearly said "no" based on past experience but it can't hurt to ask.

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More
