We like learning about the different processes for making drinks (wine, beer, coffee) so we took this short and inexpensive tour ($10pp). If you’re interested in the tour, you should go online and reserve a spot. We were in Kona in late Dec. and the...More

The beers are spectacular but the food is average at most. We had a kale salad with almost no sauce and a hummus and roasted veggie sandwich (where are the roasted veggies, where is the hummus ???) with chips (more powder than chips). Don't go...More

Since I was sporting my Kona Brewing 'Big Wave' biking jersey on my bike rides, I had to at least stop and check out my 'sponsor'. We were seated pretty quickly but it was obvious that the staff was overwhelmed. Looking around, most of the...More

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and cheerful, but not deeply knowledgeable on the beer making process. I would have liked to learn more about their grain, hops, and yeast sourcing. I have been on a few other brewery tours and didn’t really learn anything...More

Go for the beer. Beware of the food. This trip the "new computer system" caused our food to be burnt. Waitress comp'd one of the dishes, but would have rather had good food. If I one could eat one meal, this wouldnt be it. That...More

The hostess and manager weren't very friendly or inviting. After waiting a few minutes for a table, we were seated outside. Though there isn't much of a view, the outdoor patio had many tropical plants and was a nice place to sit and relax. The...More

Was told this was the place for good food and beer. The pizza was good and a great verity of beers that the Kona Brewing Company brew. The hype was not what it turned out for us. I'm sure this place could be fun if...More

Hi, you can walk to the brewery from the pier. If you come from the small boat that drops you of at the pier, you don't follow the water but take the street in front of you that goes up. At the first stoplight you turn left... More

I see from a previous reviewer that children must be 15 or older for the tour. But you can verify when you call to reserve, since you need to make a reservation.
