Any way you get there you need to go to Kalaupapa!! My favorite way to get down there is hiking. It is not an easy hike, but it is beautiful!!

dido.. at the top of the trail head I've also noticed several cars parked.. which I assume belong to the staff or people who hike the trail .

Yes that is correct. Children under 16 are not allowed in the park to protect the resident's privacy
