Just back from a great week skiing in Sölden Austria. It isn’t the largest resort, with only around 30 lifts over two mountains, but with two young kids in ski school and having to get back to collect them, it was the perfect size for...More

Our first time here to ski. Infrastructure is excellent but perhaps a little inferior to serfaus for the lifts. Otherwise excellent with a great selection of runs at various levels of difficulty. Reds and blacks seemed relatively a little easier than at some other Austrian...More

Fantastic ski resort, long slopes, snow guaranteed till may. I have seen most austrian resorts, but Solden is the TOP. It has the other side. Overpriced accomodation, queues at spinal lift. Over all - this is perfect.

With two groomed and skiable glaciers, and miles of runs and lifts - this is one of the largest ski resorts in the Alps. Great gondolas, trams and lifts; wonderful restaurants; great snow. I will definitely return!

There are better ski areas in Austria in my opinion Great infrastructure but the ski area felt small and crowded compared to places like St Anton and Lech or the Zillertal (all of which I’ve visited in recent times) I also didn’t think there was...More

The place is just awesome. Huge trails all kinds of difficulty. Going above the clouds or to the glacier was unbelievable. A lot of snow everywhere, practically every slope was open. Mid day breaks to get Austrian food and beer we’re super nice. There are...More
