Nice gorge, and informative experience center
Jun 2021 • Couples
Nice place to visit. You’ll get a small discount (10%) with the Saalbach joker card. There is a info center at the entrance with an informative video on the construction and operation of the hydro power complex.

Be mindful that due to COVID-19, this is only one-way. But you can take a easy walk (or short intense hike via Bürgkogel) back to the parking lots.

Powerful and beautiful
Jul 2020 • Couples
Beautiful! The power of water is amazing. It's a nice stroll on the wooden path. You might get wet. Parking is tricky, there are more parking lots along the road. The entrance is a bit hidden.

Great little visit to Sigmund-Thun-Klamm with a hike through the park and afterwards we took one of the surrounding small hikes to get back to the carpark.

Beatufiful bot within the park and for the surroundings.

Nice

A short walk worth taking. We did it with a 1,5-year-old kid without any problems, it took us a little more than a half an hour.

Must visit
Aug 2020 • Couples
We found this place by case but it was breathtaking. Entry fee it's only €6 and worthed. When you reach the top, an amazing lake waits for you. It's a must see.

Amazing little natural wonder
Jul 2020
The hike takes about 30 min. up through the gorge. Views are amazing. You feel the roar and power of the water.

Temperature is generally lower than the surroundings so remember a blouse or jacket.

Loved it!
Oct 2019 • Couples
We wanted an easy trip and this was just perfect! At the end of October there was literally no one else on the track and we loved the views and autumn colours. The wooden path in the canyon takes approx. 20minutes and then we walked around the lake and back. Alltogether 1 hour. Kiosk and restaurant were closed as it was after the season. Parking was for free.

It's different
Aug 2019
If you are in the Zell Am See Kaprun area and you have never done a similar gorge walk you should do it. It's different from all other places you will generally cover in this area.

It's a short wooden path inside a 32 meter gorge in the mountains where you pass through several small fountains below on the river. There are some fountains falling from the top as well on the way. The small fountain at the end and the calm lake is also nice.

If you are not travelling by car then you can take the 660 bus from Zell Am See or Kaprun and get down at Sigmund Thun Klamm stop. The entrance is 5 minutes walk from there. The entry fee is 6 EUR but it is free with the Zell Am See Kaprun summer card.

Short walk with great site seeing
Aug 2019 • Family
I was surprized how short it was. Once you enter, it is a one way trail. After a few hundred yards of a great show of water and nature you pass a gate of no return back. The way back is on a different trail.
So the whole trail above the water was too short for me.
But this place is a MUST!

A nice attraction - A nice view
Aug 2019
Well built, with minimal damage to the nature.
Impressive and worth the time.
We had made it in a rainy weather - and still - it was a nice experience.
