We had the best time in Plains with President Carter. Like all the other reviewers say, you must get there early. My mother and I arrived at 5:30 and were car number 104. If I could do it again, I would arrive by 5:00. We...More

First, let me stress that you arrive early. If you read no further.....arrive by 5 AM. When I heard that President Carter had spoke at the LibertyU commencement on Saturday, I was afraid we had traveled 450 miles for nothing. Be aware that there is...More

Well worth the visit but arrive EARLY! We got there at 6:20 and were car 130. We ended up being the next to last couple allowed in. They turned away many, many people including a bus load because there is just not enough capacity. We...More

We were so grateful to attend the church and experience the teaching of Sunday School by President Carter and the worship service. The whole procedure of getting the crowds of people in and out and still maintaining the integrity of a house of worship is...More

Arriving at 5:45 AM, we were car number 25 on April 8th, 2018. About 8:30, we were seated in the 9th pew from the front (there are 13 rows of pews). Many who arrived later than us were unable to secure a seat in the...More

This was absolutely one of the best things I have ever done with my son. Mrs. Jan, Mrs. Betty, Pastor Brandon and, of course, President Carter were so wonderful, welcoming and full of love. The Sunday school service and the church service were both amazing....More

What a lovely thing to do! It’s not often that you get to have your picture taken with a President so it’s worth the effort. Jimmy carter taught the Sunday School lesson before the regular service. If you stay through both, you can have a...More

This visit will go down as a top 5. President Carter is amazing. Personal, intelligent. He teaches 3x a month then sits with the congregation for service then sits for photos. Since he is 93, this opportunity will not last much longer. He is reducing...More

Always thought this church was a lot bigger. Jimmy Carter attends church here. All we could see was the church and the grounds. It looks like a nice southern church.

President Carter teaches Sunday school here several times a month (important to check timings). We were there the weekend Mrs. Carter underwent surgery in Atlanta the night before, but the President still came and spoke briefly to those in attendance, and stayed for photographs. No...More

You may bring any normal type of cell phone or camera for the picture (taken after the service), however, you did not take the picture yourself. They use your camera or phone and take the picture for you.
