Fantastic band. Music is what drew us in. Drinking, dancing and singing...great combo. 2 for 1 drinks, even better. Then the band took a break. I get it, can't play all night. DJ picked up the slack and the bar became a ghost town. Hung...More

We try and hit this place every time we go to New Orleans. It never disappoints. The band plays one classic rock song after another.

If you're like me, not a big fan of some of the hip-hop in many of the Bourbon St dance clubs, then this place is for you. Always busy, always friendly, always fun, and always great rockin cover-bands - all with no cover and reasonable...More

Each time we walked by and stopped in they had great music playing. There is not much seating, most of the floor space is for dancing. Drinks were averagely priced for the area.

Over a few years, I've been to the Famous Door several times and it seems they have a different band each time. I hope they don't change to Country and Western music!!! Gotta love that good old Rock & Roll!
