This is the perfect way to see the French Quarter like a tourist, but experience it like a local. You'll laugh [Richard was hilarious], learn [so much food and city history], and get a taste of the many flavors of New Orleans [it's not just all shrimp and gumbo y'all]. Our tour took about 3.5 hours and was the perfect... More

My husband and I had a lovely time with our tour guide, Linda on this tour. She had lots of knowledge and enthusiasm for the history and culture of food in this area and was very friendly! One of our stops was closed for renovations so we ended up having muffaletta sandwiches in the manager's courtyard and got to try... More

My husband and I have been to New Orleans many times, and the Tastebud Food Tour Is one of the best tours we've taken in NOLA. We tasted a brisket po'boy, jambalaya, seafood gumbo, coffee and cannoli, a mufaletta sandwich, & pralines, & learned so much about the restaurants, the way the food is made, the difference between the Creole... What a wonderful time for 5 high school classmates!!! This was a very fun thing to do in New Orleans! Our tour guide, Jeannine, was very knowledgeable and great to listen to! She was well prepared and stopped along the way to give us some interesting history about other buildings along the way. What a wonderful way to experience the... More

If you ever come to New Orleans make you sure you book a tour with TasteBuds and request Libby. Omg she's very informative and took her time to explain all the great foods that this state had to offer. She's been living all her life in New Orleans and she's 10th generation. I love that she incorporated her own life... More

Im not sure if all the tours are the same, but if you are lucky enough to get Linda...you will get way more than food. Linda provided us with a great overview of all the local history along with the history that went along with the food. Its really neat to hear how things evolved and she told very informative... Linda walked us through this amazing foodie city. We arrived with an empty stomach and were stuffed (even the manly men) by the end of the tour. If you are lucky bright to get Linda as your guide, stick close, she can share all kinds of tips about th city as an added benefit to the delicious food!

We met our guide Tish and she outlined the five stops we would make over the course of the tour. We tried a wide variety of foods from poboys, gumbo and jambalaya to pralines and little desserts. Tish had lots of great stories to tell and related well to everyone in the group. It was also really obvious she had... More

What an awesome experience. You never think of doing a food tour, but when visiting New Orleans I highly recommend it! Regan our tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. Not only on the food but the history of the food, restaurant and city. It was one of the best tours I've ever done.

On our second visit to NOLA we did the tour that we should have taken first time around! Libby led us with passion, information and humour through a number of food stops. We not only sampled interesting (and tasty) local fare, but we also learn a lot about the culture and history of this wonderful city. Without giving away all... More
