A welcome respite after a long day in the New Orleans heat. Strong sound system, full bar with good beers, eclectic selection of local musicians. A local stronghold since the 70s, it's located in a neighborhood about a 15-minute bus ride from the French Quarter....More

A well known, old school venue without a doubt. The place smells like you did, when you had your first hangover - a kind of gross plastic cupped nostalgia. This time, add a persistent waft of weed. Wish they did more to stop the smoking...More

Great concert featuring Billy Gibbons from ZZ Top, Michael McDonald from the Doobie Brothers, the Neville Brothers and more. Loved how when people passing by asked who was playing, the security guards answered...”EVERYONE!!”

We saw North Mississippi All-stars. They rocked but was equally or more impressed with the venue. We got there early, saw the opening act, and grabbed a spot upstairs. Close to washroom, bar and with GREAT view of stage. Sound was good and just the...More

Although I am getting older and I didn't think I would stay more than 15 minutes, I stayed for the entire anniversary show with Walter Wolfman Washington and his band. The band connected with the audience in such a way that I completely forgot about...More
