New Orleans Ghost, Voodoo & Vampire Walking Tour

3,108 reviews
New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and witches. During this walking tour, save time with a guide who knows the quickest routes around the Big Easy and brings the folklore and history of the city to life, all during the creepiest time of day—the night. Plus, a centrally located meeting point makes for a hassle-free, fun evening.

Interesting and colorful. I drove through the neighborhood. Very New Orleans, I'd say. Worth the time to see it.

Branch out from the French Quarter and Garden District to discover this close-in neighborhood full of life and some cool architecture. Stop at a cafe. Hang out.

A wonderful way to spend a few hours on a nice day is driving Marigny and Bywater to view the colorful murals and houses. Take a break mid-way at any one of a number of delicious cafes or coffee shops.

We did a bike tour in this neighborhood. There were some lovely houses and we stopped at the cemetery. It was easy to cycle around.

My 6 friends and I travelled to NOLA together (first time to New Orleans for all of us) to celebrate a couple of our birthdays. We have never travelled together like this before and ended up selecting a property in Marigny to be our home away from home. This area is perfect if this is your first time to NOLA, I would recommend this area to stay in as it is mostly safe and really close (10 minute walk) to the French Quarter which also means you’re close to the streetcar. Very walkable! Uber is also a great way to get around if you’re heading away from the touristy areas but there’s a lot to see and do right here. We did at least three guided tours and two of them began in the French Quarter whereas the third, we could have taken the streetcar but due to road closures, we were forced to take an Uber. This neighbourhood has plenty of colourful houses, cute little coffee shops, restaurants & bars nearby and everyone seems really friendly. There was even a little grocery store/deli near where we were staying that had pretty much anything you needed. If you really want to be where the people are and love music then Frenchmen Street is where you want to be. The live music streaming from all of the different venues is unreal. We really enjoyed The Maison. Try the lemongrass gin there. It will change your life.
