Exquisitely lovely store, although it would have been nice to have received acknowledgment we were in the store. We were very interested in a certain piece and could certainly afford it but we were also interested in another similar piece elsewhere. Perhaps it was because we weren't wearing our usual attire and looked a little disheveled from our day out... More

Beautiful antiques and interesting people. Very high end furniture but the history is right there. Love this place.

From the window you know you are about to walk into something special! The store is a history lesson and the staff is so nice.

Great antiques, and beautiful jewelry (earrings, bracelets, and more). Lots to see! They are known for their antiques, but I love their jewelry. They have unique pieces that you will not find in other stores. Family business, great people.

We were treated like people that din't have any business being in their shop. Staff totally ignored us and they couldn't wait for us to leave. Very snooty and snotty help couldn't even bother saying hello since we din't look like their expensive customers.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
