I was here for a large week-long conference. This is a very large convention center so be sure you know what area your conference is in. The atmosphere was nice and our sessions within a short distance of each other.

I was in a convention with Connect Market last august 2017 and every thing was in place - food, rooms, bathrooms, snacks, service - so it is definitely a good place to work or to visit.

As convention centre's go this place is run-of-the-mill. The biggest issue was them not turning the A/C on early enough in the hall we were visiting. Because of this, it took almost 3 days for the temperature to be "livable" which hard when you're inside...More

For some reason, this convention center felt more "cozy" to me than many others. I'm not sure if it is because it seemed more spread out or because it was carpeted... The carpet was worn and the place is showing signs of age, but it...More

If nothing else, enjoy the river walk mall and take plenty of pictures. There was plenty of space for our Veterans of Foreign Wars Convention and the setup was great.

Been in a few major city convention center and the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center is at the top of the list. It's huge as the others are but the setup beats D.C. and Philly as it holds tons of events at the same time....More

It had been quite sometime, since I attended an event at the Ernest P Morial Convention Center – probably 12 years. We were back in New Orleans in June, for a conference, held mostly at the Hilton Riverside Conference Center, but with some larger events...More

Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district
is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing
assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having
moved in and set up shop throughout the disused
warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much
of the art you'll come across here is local in scope,

The convention center does not have it's own parking lot. You have to use commercial lots in the neighborhood and they are not cheap. You should use public transport or a shuttle from your hotel.
