Very interesting. Started from the French quarter where we learned a lot about the history and then walked on to the cemetery. Very interesting tour.

Referred by Roosevelt Hotel. Took a taxi to the meeting point and gave up after 15 minutes. Two other couples were hung out to dry too.

And ask for Randy. He is a blast. I love history but never studied much in the south and learns so much. Randy is a local and quite the character. He is intimately connected to NOLA and made th two hours fly by. This is a must for anyone who travels to NOLA. The company is very professional and their... More

Let me start off by saying I am definitely a skeptic. I do not believe in ghosts but I am very fascinated by the history of New Orleans and I was hoping that this tour would provide me with some rich and fascinating stories about some of the more disturbing events of New Orleans past. I really believe a tour... More

Fun walking tour, was supposed to be 2 hours, went into 3 hours and after 3 1/2 we abandoned...there's just so much you can hear and see about scary local events. Pace was good, we stopped for a bio break and to refresh our roadies about 1/2 way in. Our guide was friendly, knew lots of details and was great,... More

We had a terrible tour guide! I don't remember her name, sadly, but she was awful. She was not a good storyteller and kept saying the same thing twice, using the same adjectives over and over, and kept saying, "then, he DIED" like that was supposed to be scary. We walked for two hours and all the stories that she... More

This tour couldn't have been any better without our amazing tour guide Randy! We did the French quarter tour and we were so impressed with Randy's knowledge and dedication to the history of the city. Answered every question we asked. He even threw in such awesome sass. It was only our group on the tour which was even better! I... More

Our tour guide, Janine, was so knowledgeable, informative, & just down right fun. It was a walking New Orleans history lesson. The cemetery was the main focus, but other interesting facts about New Orleans were included. Janine made this two hour tour a memorable experience. She even took the time at the end of the tour to suggest other activities... More

Took this tour with Janine at the beginning of September and she was fabulous! Very knowledgeable and informative about the city. You could tell it was a subject that she was very passionate about and interested in and she wasn't simply repeating a recited script. Would definitely take one of her tours again when we go back to New Orleans!... More

Highly recommended this tour with Jenine. She is fun, very informative and her love of the city and its history really show through. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
