New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and witches. During this walking tour, save time with a guide who knows the quickest routes around the Big Easy and brings the folklore and history of the city to life, all during the creepiest time of day—the night. Plus, a centrally located meeting point makes for a hassle-free, fun evening.

The museum has many more interactive abut my kids loved the bubble pulley system.  The spent turn after turn trying to reach 6 feet of bubbles.  The museum sits inside a much larger park with plenty of outdoor space for the kids to run around.

The building and grounds are amazing, as is City Park. The museum itself is beautiful, well-lit and spacious. However, in terms of actual activities, it seems to be purely directed towards the very little ones. Our 9-year old really didn't enjoy most of the activities, and this is from a family who loves going museums of all kinds. The outside space was probably the most exciting, and that was mainly just free-play. I also think the diversity in terms of patrons and types of activities is quite limited. They could definitely do more - they seem to have the space and the funding for it!

Another step in the right direction. The new facility is awesome. Hands down a great place and much more for the kids to learn form. We bought a membership and will be right back.

The remodeled museum really got a much needed face lift. While it is still the amazing museum I remember as a kid, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious. With as much pomp and circumstance as the new museum generated, having no place to park within a reasonable walking distance to the entrance was a little discerning. Especially with little ones, the museum’s biggest and most important critics have a marathon of walking to do before ever setting foot inside.

It’s looks big on the outside but inside they have maybe 5 areas for play. It’s more of an activity center for little kids. At $14 per person it’s robbery.
