What a great park, between the grounds themselves, museaums, mini amuesment park, botanical guardens, local yoga classes, the art guild having weekend popups this is a great hub for esacping for the day or interacting with friends and family. The city even held a drive through light parade this year. My family has rented group bikes, eaten bengiets at the Cafe, toured Storybook playground and the botanical gardens, spent too much (and will again) on local art and jewelry, picnic-ed and people watched, as well as just wandered aimlessly to zen out for a while. …

We enjoyed our breakfast at Cafe du Monde and then had a nice stroll around the park. It has a nice pond and beautiful trees (palms and oaks with Spanish moss).

this park is a hidden treasure, there is something for everyone an beautiful plenty to do and see along with take pictures also a cafe du monde store in park go to the park and enjoy

Huge park. Very scenic. Lots of Live Oak trees, Spanish moss. Birds. Many activities, though some are not available because of covid. Easy to maintain social distancing. I came here by street car. Well worth the trip. Very relaxing.

The New Orleans City Park is worth going out of your way to see. We loved picking up po’boys from Domilise’s and taking them to eat at the park. It’s a huge space filled with crooked live oak trees and Spanish Moss hanging everywhere—truly a New Orleans site.
