New Orleans is infamous for its spooky past, filled with tales of voodoo, vampires, ghosts, and witches. During this walking tour, save time with a guide who knows the quickest routes around the Big Easy and brings the folklore and history of the city to life, all during the creepiest time of day—the night. If you like horse racing, you will like this. This is a very nice race course. We got seats in the club house. They recommend you purchase those in advance and if you want to eat, make reservations in the dining area. It costs $80 for six in a box.

I had not been here in years. Could be close to a decace. My grandfather used to own horses and I would be here all the time. I bet on a few races (no luck) BUT I did win in the casino. Good times with my family and wife's boss. Would like to come back every once in awhile. Food was excellent too.

We often go to the New Orleans Fairgrounds and always have a great time. From the clubhouse to the grandstands, the people are friendly and service is quality. The food is even fantastic, especially the corned beef!

We went of thanksgiving day and boy did we enjoy the people watching. Most folks had on a decorated hat, but the best was some of the outfits that went with them. There was a band playing after 3 PM down in a tent. We enjoyed hanging outside and watching the races at the railing to here the hooves thunder by. We did bet some, but didn't win anything. We had a good time trying. You could watch the race horse paraded around a garden court yard. We did buy several drinks but the lines could be long. After the race we went to the slot machines, found a machine that would give free games, which was really fun. Fun place to visit

Great location for Jazz Fest. Easy to get to, great acts and ample bathrooms. Perfect way to spend 8 days listening to music.
